Cento's pedigree reads like a who's who of International Show Jumping Sires - this horse is simply bred to jump!

By the top Holsteiner stallion Chellano Z from the great Zangersheide Stud. Chellano's father is Contender who is considered to be one of the top 20 stallions in the World and his dam Fayence is full sister to Corrado I who jumped at top level with Franke Sloothak. Chellano sadly died at a young age due to a broken leg and was so highly thought of he has since been cloned - the foal being born in 2007. Chellano fathered the 5yo World Champion Calvados Z, Cartier Z who is proving to be a very succesful AES registered stallion in the UK and many more of his progeny are now coming to the fore on the International stage.

His mother is by Armstrong who has produced many top showjumpers and is in turn by the great stallion Ramiro Z. Armstrongs dam is also the mother of the Olympic Gold Medal winner De Sijem. Also on the mothers side is the great Farn a horse who has proved to be so important in Dutch breeding. He was one of the foundation sires of the Dutch Studbook and fathered many International showjumpers including one of the most famous sires of all time - Nimmerdor.

Cento has a Zangersheide passport and is microchipped.

EXPERIENCE

Cento arrived in November 2008.

This horse is an outstanding young talent with a huge powerful jump and a very mature attitude.

He had been started in practice shows in Holland and was ready to start doing official shows. He is very mature both physically and mentally but we have started to produce him slowly.

His flatwork is very well balanced and he works in a snaffle. His canter and his jump have real power and his technique is superb. He is proving to be careful, powerful and to have a fabulous technique behind. He is easy to ride and is unfazed by any fillers. He is being produced slowly and is a real prospect for age classes this year.

Cento is a huge talent and is sure to be a major contender in age classes over the next 2 years. He is sure to be a top level jumper of the future.
