This horse has an amazing pedigree.

Her father is Salvador who is by the fabulous jumper Corland. Corland was a top class jumper who has been placed at many of the World's top Grand Prixs. At the European Championships in 2001 he won both qualifiers and finished in the top 10 overall. He has passed on his amazing jumping ability and braveness to his many children who now litter the International stage with many successes. Also featuring on the father's side is Ronald (who was fathered by one of the World's greatest showjumping sires in Ramiro Z) and Farn father of the great Nimmerdor and Foundation Sire of of the Dutch Studbook.

Her mother is by Wellington a former top International jumper based at the VDL stud and a Keur dressage stallion. His offspring are expected to be of International standard and his offspring are proving this with sons including the great Emilion of World Cup success. Wellington is in turn by Nimmerdor a stallion classed as a legend and KWPN Stallion of the Century.

All in all, this horse is bred to jump!

EXPERIENCE

Vaurienne arrived in February 2008.

This fantastic little horse had already started her career in Holland with an amateur rider. She had started jumping at 1m level with some winning points and also had started at Intro level eventing with some winning points.

Vaurienne is an amazing talent. She has the most active, big canter that belies her size and a huge length of stride. She rides in a snaffle and is an easy, bouncy, forward horse. She is very brave and when she jumps it is effortless. A fabulous technique she is light from the ground with great power, neat in front and opens out behind.

She is naturally very well balanced and has her changes in place. She is sensible yet willing to ride.

This horse is a huge talent and will go far in the future. She has the big jumping stride seen on many top jumpers and the attitude to match.

Vaurienne is a small horse who literally grows when out of the stable.

She knows how to relax and is very chilled out, making her extremely easy to handle and deal with.

She is very serious and focused, loves her routine and nothing stresses her out.

She takes everything in her stride and is absolutely no trouble at all to have around.

A really sweet horse with a fantastic attitude to life.
