Winston's pedigree reads like a who's who of International Show Jumping Sires - this horse is simply bred to jump!

By the top stallion Royal Bravour who with Peter Geerink was Ramiro Z's 2nd best show jumping progeny after the Olympic Gold Medal winner Ratina Z. He won countless World Cup Qualifiers and Grand Prix's and in 1998 was ranked number 3 in the World Show Jumping rankings. Ramiro Z needs no introduction and is one of the World's greatest sires of show jumpers. Winston's fatherline also features Orthos who sired many Nations Cup and Grand Prix winners including Orthos (GB Olympic Team reserve with Robert Smith) and Sure Thing.

His mother is by Concorde who was Silver medallist at the Barcelona Olympics and also National Stallion Champion. With Jos Lansink he won many Grand Prixs and the number of his successful progeny now keep him as one of the top ranking stallions in the World. Winston's motherline also features Ufarno who is by the great Farn one of the foundation sires of the Dutch studbook. Farn was the sire of a number of International show jumpers including Nimmerdor one of the most famous sires of all time.

Winston has a KWPN passport and is microchipped.

EXPERIENCE

Winston arrived in May 2007.

This horse is an outstanding young talent with a huge powerful jump and a very mature attitude.

When he arrived with us he had been broken only 5 months. He had done one 4yo Age Class in Holland and had scored 8's for his jumping. He is very mature both physically and mentally but we have started to produce him slowly.

His flatwork is very well balanced with changes almost established and he works in a snaffle. His canter and his jump have real power and his technique is superb. He is proving to be careful, powerful and to have a maturity beyond his years. He is easy to ride and is unfazed by any fillers. He is being produced slowly and is a real prospect for 4yo age classes this year.

Winston is a huge talent and is sure to be a major contender in age classes over the next 2 years. He is sure to be a top level jumper of the future.
